green building.

CJG Engineers designs sustainable structures that are energy efficient and fiscally responsible. High-performance structures have a longer useful life and a reduced impact on the physical environment.

Early collaboration, thoughtful selection of materials and efficient use of framework provides our clients with structures that are functional, flexible and sustainable. Some simple, yet effective, ways we make buildings sustainable include material optimization, reuse of existing construction, rapidly renewable materials and recycled content.

Leadership in Energy and Environmental Design (LEED®) is the new industry standard for designing environmentally responsible buildings. To make a building LEED® Certified, all professional areas involved in the project must work together to achieve specific credits set forth by the US Green Building Council (USGBC).

CJG Engineers employs LEED® Accredited Professionals who can help assist in the certification process. To learn more about LEED®, visit the U.S. Green Building Council's website.
