Cook Children's Medical Center

CJG Engineers has provided structural services for Cook Children's Medical Center since 1986. Completed work includes a 350,000 square foot four-story south parking garage, a new central plant, a 40,000 square foot two-story south expansion, a 28,000 square foot two-story outpatient surgery addition, a 90,000 square foot four-story medical office building, and a 190,000 square foot six-story north bed tower addition.

In 2012, Cook Children's Medical Center completed a 278,000 square foot six-story north bed tower expansion, a 285,000 square foot six-story medical office building and a south parking garage. In 2018, Cook Children's Medical Center completed a six story 285,000 square foot south bed tower and a new central plant to serve the south campus.

Using BIM and working collaboratively with the design-build team streamlines project delivery and saves the owner valuable time and money.
